He wears a yellow-and-brown robe, though not comfortably, as he usually wears metal plates underneath it when in unsafe places like his home town, Shadow Port. His skin is white. He looks like he doesn't take care of himself very well. He is somewhat overweight. ## History: The guru was born in the village of Bekera, north-east of Shadow Port. His parents were like most people in the village: poor peasants. When he was 15, his father fell ill. Luckily, a year later, at 16, the famous Svami Buddha came into town, and showed his father how spiritual healing could revitalize his body, saving him from the deadly skeletonpox. The Svami Buddha saw the kid who would come to be known as the guru, and thought he saw something in him he had not seen before in any other person. A will to believe and make others believe in the true spirit of the self and the chakras. He offered to become a teacher for the young guru. His parents were relieved at this, hoping their son could end up someplace better than their poor village. He left promptly with the Svami Buddha. Sadly, he didn't know that his father died of skeletonpox the next year. Apparently he failed to utilize the chakras correctly, or forgot to drink his ginseng tea. The guru turned out to be a great student. He listened carefully to his master, and utilized what he learned quickly after he had learned it. He traveled far and wide, and found people in desperate need of their alternative medicine everywhere from Axis to Nomad. But he also found strong opposition in among imperial doctors and wizards. In the last few years, he set up shop in Shadow Port. His form of healing and meditation is the only one that openly helps thieves guild. He says hopes that them "finding inner peace" will make them forego material need, and thus stop thieving. The thieves think differently, but are nonetheless very thankful of his help. The priestess thinks his methods are odd, but sees his religion as a force of good, and thus has even created a small temple for it in the Cathedral at Santa Cora. The guru still really wants to go there. He recently got an invitiation by the thieves guild to retreive an item for them from the forest north of Shadow Port. He usually doesn't do such things, but as he just lost all the money he had saved up for a trip to the Cathedral after a show of some con magician at Shadow Port, he's willing to do a bit of work for a hefty reward.
